The CAD model helped me to better understand and visualize the construction of this table. It helped me to get the accurate measurement of all the parts involved in the construction.

Rove challenged me to think beyond the visual form of furniture and consider how movement, mechanics, and storage could be integrated into a simple object. Developing the tambour system and concealed storage required continuous prototyping and refinement to balance functionality with a clean, cohesive form. The project strengthened my understanding of material behaviour, mechanical detailing, and designing through making.
